Allison Topilow is a private practice nutritionist in New York City and New Jersey. In her private practice, Eat and Be Well, Allison specializes in eating disorders, weight management, pre/postnatal nutrition, cardiovascular health and general wellness. She also counsels individuals seeking guidance for vegetarian nutrition, sports nutrition, diabetes, meal planning and disease prevention. She has been very successful in establishing an excellent rapport with clients of all ages and has been able to help them reach their goals. Allison also provides seminars for corporations, health clubs and community organizations.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in 1998, Allison completed her training to obtain a license as a Registered Dietitian at New York Presbyterian – New York Weill Cornell Center. She began her career in nutrition as a part-time outpatient nutritionist at The Medical Center at Princeton in New Jersey and started her private practice, Eat and Be Well. After relocating to New York, Allison worked as the cardiac unit dietitian at Beth Israel Medical Center. Two years later, she accepted a position as the exclusive nutritionist at The New York University Health Center. During her tenure as the exclusive nutritionist at NYU, Allison completed a Masters Degree in Nutrition and became a nutrition department adjunct professor. Allison was also involved in the dietetic internship selection committee. Due to the success of her private practice, Allison left New York University and returns on occasion to give seminars.
